Volunteer Spotlight: Holly

By April 4, 2019February 7th, 2022eMS News

April 7-13, 2019 is National Volunteer Week! Please join us as we thank the wonderful volunteers who help us fulfill our mission: To improve the quality of life of individuals and their families living with MS and related neurological diseases through care, support, education and research. #NVW

KADEP staff and clients look forward to Thursday mornings each week knowing that Holly will be returning to KADEP to lead a group and spread her joy and positivity. Holly has formed deep and meaningful relationships with the clients and is always willing to hear their stories and offer advice. She shows flexibility in her volunteering duties and is always looking for ways to help out. Thank you, Holly!

Holly says, “I worked at KADEP for almost two years as the Exercise Specialist and absolutely loved it. When another opportunity came for me to do exercise therapy with the elderly (80 or older!), I had to make a very tough decision to pursue another path. KADEP and the wonderful clients changed my life for the better so I knew that I could not say goodbye. I have been able to come volunteer for the past year on Thursdays to show a church sermon from Red Rocks Church to clients. It has been so wonderful to continue to be part of the KADEP family. I always wanted to help people and make their lives better, but I can honestly say that it has been the reverse. KADEP has helped me and made my life better because of the incredible people! I love KADEP and all of the KADEPians. :)”
