Webinar: The Medical Record — Your Most Important Evidence in an SSDI Claim

Attorney Tom Stewart shares important information about documenting your MS limitations in your medical chart and being prepared to apply for Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI).

Accurate and timely documentation of challenges associated with your MS is crucial – especially as they begin to affect your job. It is important to begin this documentation process as soon as your symptoms start impacting work — not months later when you’re filing a claim. That early record can help validate your trajectory if things worsen over time. Specific, functional language is critical in supporting future disability claims or accommodation requests. This webinar is geared toward people who are still in the workforce and may or may not already be experiencing limitations due to their MS. Tom will share examples of how to document your MS-related challenges appropriately.

Tom also answers general questions about SSDI and private disability insurance in this webinar.

Please watch Tom’s 30-minute video “Anticipating Disability: An Overview of SSDI and Other Protections” (   • Anticipating Disability: An Overview of SS…  ) to learn the basics about SSDI and private disability insurance in advance of this webinar.
