Movement matters, especially when you’re living with MS or a similar disease. It’s certainly no secret that exercise is an important part of general health and wellness, though this becomes much more important when living with MS. Regular exercise is key to reducing your risk of other health problems, and we all know that exercise has been proven to benefit one’s mental health and wellbeing. Exercise also works to combat fatigue, something nearly everyone with MS struggles with. Still, it can be difficult to get moving and feel confident in your exercise routine.

FREE Adaptive Exercise Classes
Tailored for People Living with MS
That’s why we’ve partnered with local Physical Therapists to sponsor adaptive exercise classes for people living with MS and similar diseases – because we want you to have all the tools at your fingertips to live your fullest life with MS. Under the guidance of physical therapy professionals tailoring classes to fit the needs of MS patients, you’ll be walked through adaptive stretching, mobility training, and aerobic workouts to strengthen your everyday balance and flexibility. Class instructors will be ready to help provide movement modifications to best serve you to ensure you’re getting the most out of every class.
These local adaptive exercise classes are modeled after the MS Center’s Online Adaptive Exercise Classes led by Michele Harrison, PT, which has greatly benefited dozens of participants since its inception in 2020.
Here’s a what a few participants have had to say:
