Grief isn’t only death; it’s loss of confident plans for the future, it’s expectations not being met, it’s change and recognition of what we can’t control. Living with MS or chronic health conditions brings this to the surface and forefront for many.
Elissa Berlinger, LCSW leads this discussion on how grief impacts people living with MS. This webinar breaks down the difference between grief and depression, and highlight how having MS impacts how one looks at the grief process. We’ll discuss the uncertainty and the unknowns of a chronic health condition, how this can muddle grief and depression, and also how it can create resiliency and give important insight for coping with living with MS.
