After 22 years of dedicated service to the Rocky Mountain MS Center, Karen Wenzel announced her resignation as Rocky Mountain MS Center’s Executive Director – a position she has held since 2003.
The board of directors and staff are grateful for her work and many contributions to the MS Center.
During Karen’s 10-year tenure as Executive Director, she made a significant impact in growing the organization’s medical care and educational services, and developing effective MS treatments to protect the futures of those living with the disease.
The board of directors has appointed Renelle Darr as the interim Executive Director to lead day-to-day operations. Renelle is a highly skilled leader with more than 17 years of experience. Before accepting the interim Executive Director position, she served on the MS Center’s board for 8 years.
The board will work closely with Renelle to manage the business of the MS Center while the board conducts a thoughtful and comprehensive search for a new Executive Director.
The MS Center’s strategic direction is unchanged and on track. The board of directors and staff are dedicated to delivering exceptional service to those who live with MS and their families, and continuing to grow the innovative services of the Rocky Mountain MS Center.
