We covered a lot of topics this year with our MS Education programming. If you missed anything, don’t worry—you can find it all on our YouTube channel. YouTube.com/@TheMSCenter has all of our on-demand videos available anytime you’re ready to learn.
And here’s a handy tip that even longtime subscribers don’t always realize: there’s a search bar on our channel. Type in fatigue, MRI, exercise, or whatever’s on your mind, and you’ll see every video we’ve made on that topic pop right up. Our newest “Conversations on MS” videos even include a clickable topic index, so you can skip straight to the part you care about most.
A Quick Tour of What We Covered This Year
- Our Spring Education Summit included presentations on Understanding MS Progression, Brain Volume in MS, Weighing the Risks and Benefits of Medication, and What’s New in MS Research.
- Our Fall Education Summit included presentations on Energy Economics: Managing MS Fatigue, AI in the Field of Neurology, Progress in Action: MS Research Updates, and Beyond MS: Understanding the Impacts of Comorbidities. Plus each event had two recorded Q&A sessions that can be found on the main event pages linked above.
- We held Conversations on MS sessions with Dr. Enrique Alvarez (2 sessions), Dr. Andrew Wolf (2 sessions), Dr. Robert Gross (2 sessions), Dr. Elle Wade, and Dr. Ryan Kammeyer. These 90-minute Q&A sessions are made up entirely of questions submitted by you! Scroll to the bottom of the playlist to see the most recent sessions.
- We published many education sessions including three short videos on Fatigue, Insurance Basics, and Habit Change.
- Our Rural Education Program recorded virtual education sessions on Heat Sensitivity, Balance and Coordination, and Sleep.
- Plus you can find a huge playlist of online seated adaptive workout classes with PT Michele Harrison.
Everything lives on our website and YouTube channel, it’s like having a library of practical MS tools right at your fingertips, whenever you’re in need.
A quick note about MS 101 (because it’s the one class we don’t record): If you’re newly diagnosed — or you know someone who is—you might want to check out MS 101, our free two-hour Zoom class taught three times a month by Kelsey Morrow, Education Manager and Elissa Berlinger, LCSW and MS Educator.
People tell us “I learned so much,” “I was much more hopeful after your presentation,” “The way you all explain MS to us is so helpful and easy to understand,” and “I found our conversation incredibly valuable and reassuring. I’m truly impressed by the level of support and the wealth of resources you’ve provided.” It’s also an easy way for support partners to learn the ropes without feeling overwhelmed.
We’re looking forward to bringing you even more programs and topics in 2026! If you’ve got a topic or question that you’d like to see us explore please email your idea to Education@mscenter.org.
