April 18-24, 2021 is National Volunteer Week! Please join us as we thank the wonderful volunteers who help us fulfill our mission: To improve the quality of life of individuals and their families living with MS and related neurological diseases through care, support, education and research. #NVW
We are so grateful for our wonderful volunteers, especially throughout the difficulties of 2020. One of our outstanding volunteers is Arun Jagannathan. Arun has volunteered with the RMMSC for 7 years and he has recruited many other volunteers from his company, Medtronic. He always has a smile on his face and is always eager to help out with all of our programs and services. From being our 2021 MS4MS Co-Chair with the largest MS4MS team, to sending us grant opportunities, and volunteering at KADEP and with our MSYPN, Arun has helped us in so many ways.
When asked why Arun volunteers with the RMMSC he said, “Volunteering at KADEP is such a fun and rewarding experience! I’ve brought in teams of volunteers from my company and have always found everything to be well-organized and interacting with clients is a lot of fun. I’ve also served on the MS4MS committee for the last few years. The passion everyone brings to the table is absolutely contagious and planning the event is as fun as the hikes themselves!” We couldn’t agree more, Arun. We are so appreciative of Arun’s volunteer efforts and that he is a “jack of all trades” kind of volunteer.
