April 20-26, 2025 is National Volunteer Week! Please join us as we thank the wonderful volunteers who help us fulfill our mission: To improve the quality of life of individuals and their families living with MS and related neurological diseases through care, support, education and research. #NVW
The Rocky Mountain MS Center Gala is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year. We really appreciate our leadership team for this event, especially our Gala Chair, for the hard work and time they put into this event. We are so grateful to have Priscilla Hall for our 2025 Gala Chair!
Priscilla started volunteering with the Rocky Mountain MS Center three years ago, and we’ve been so moved by how passionate she is about helping others. We’re excited to have her as this year’s Gala Chair.
“My journey with the Rocky Mountain MS Center began through a conversation with a friend who has MS,” said Priscilla. “At the time, she was serving as a Gala Chair and invited me to join the committee for their upcoming event. We were also joined by another friend who had previously served as a Gala Chair, and the three of us met for lunch so they could share their experiences with me.”
“It was during that conversation that I learned the MS Center doesn’t only serve those with multiple sclerosis, but also provides hope and support to individuals recovering from strokes and brain injuries,” she said. “As we sat at that table, I had a moment of clarity — we each represented one of those challenges: one of us had suffered a stroke, another had experienced a brain injury, and the third was living with MS. That realization made my decision easy. I knew this was where I was meant to dedicate my time and energy — to support those currently facing the same kinds of struggles.”
“I believe in the mission and the real difference the organization makes in people’s lives. Volunteering gives me a sense of purpose and allows me to contribute to something bigger than me.”
We appreciate that Priscilla likes to see the Rocky Mountain MS Center’s mission in motion. She visited KADEP and our other programs to see how she could have a greater impact. She always comes up with ways to make others feel supported by our organization. When asked what she likes about volunteering at the MS Center, Priscilla said, “I believe in the mission and the real difference the organization makes in people’s lives. Volunteering gives me a sense of purpose and allows me to contribute to something bigger than me.”
Thank you, Priscilla, for all that you do to support people with MS and other neurological conditions and their families!
