This program explains the delays and other challenges applicants generally encounter when applying for Social Security Disability benefits as well as strategies to improve the probability of a successful claim. Registrants will also be sent the link for a short video about Legal Tools for Remaining in the Workforce Despite Symptoms and Limitations two days before the webinar.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Thomas Stewart is a physician assistant who has treated patients with multiple sclerosis for twenty years. For the last 15 of those years, he has also worked as a disability attorney, helping people with multiple sclerosis and other chronic diseases access Social Security and private disability benefits. He is interested in helping people with multiple sclerosis and other chronic diseases understand how to protect themselves in the event they begin to struggle or can no longer participate in the workforce.
