The MS Center welcomes Dr. Mark Mañago to teach us about living an active lifestyle with MS. Dr. Mañago goes over common exercises done with a physical therapist and ways that people can keep that activity going after PT or instead of PT. There are many options to explore such as community classes, monitoring steps and physical activity (and other strategies for those that can’t walk well), and energy conservation and fatigue management. The latter part of the webinar will focus on monitoring and overcoming barriers to staying active (pain, mood, motivation, mobility limitations).
